These tracks include a 15 minute segment of the Growth set
These tracks include a 15 minute segment of the Growth set
that was performed March 26th of 2011 at the Green Womb
in Nashville Tennessee.The rest of the tracks are versions of that
live track that have been pumped full of samples and edited by
Bloodlust Industries in June of 2011. The Growth have 10 plus
years in the Johnson City music scene and are still going strong.

This album has 4 studio tracks recorded at Nick Barnett's
studio in Johnson City Tennessee. The other 5 tracks are live
tracks recorded in the first 3 months of the bands existence.

This is everything the band has recorded studio and live
tracks between 2002 and 2009.
WINTER 2010
This album is uncut and was recorded on a
parallel microphone, one track
recorder, put out
for the blue plum festival in June of 2011.
It includes the only recording of the bloc party
cover they performed for only 4 months.
The story behind the title "Without the Red Box" is that
when the band showed up to record with Ryan Jones they
had realized too late that they had forgotten the red box
that has all the cables and pedals they needed
to operate their equipment and had to make due with
whatever they could find. Its an inside joke as to the fact
that the "red box" was a long time member of the
groups equipment and kept them from forgetting
the very important cables and pedals which was
something that, on occasion, had occurred in the past;
to the point that they instituted the "Red Box"
to battle this very problem and consequently still
failed to do so when they went to record this album.
SUMMER 2010
This is the mastered version of without the red box and the printed
version includes a lyric sheet.
This band has been around since 2002 and still play regularly
